As of Oct. 4- Families with destroyed or unlivable homes in the most heavily Ida impacted parishes can register for Louisiana's Temporary Sheltering Program by visiting https://IdaShelteringLA.com  or calling 844-268-0301 (TTY services dial 844-458-1806)

FEMA may assist residents of 25 designated parishes through the FEMA's Transitional Sheltering Assistance. You must first register with FEMA at www.disasterassistance.gov  or by calling FEMA at 800-621-3362, open 24/7
